Investment Thesis

Climate Avengers believes that venture capital can unlock gigatons of carbon reduction by scaling promising new climate technologies. Founded by Kyle Cherrick, who spent 15 years in climate tech, the fund was created to support climate founders who were struggling to secure capital from generalist investors who didn’t understand or believe in the climate tech market. The fund is driven by two key realities: the UN IPCC’s 2018 warning that we have 12 years to avoid climate catastrophe, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink’s projection that 1,000 unicorn startups will be created in climate tech.
